Clearly I

am afraid.

my heart wrinkles

twisted and burned

inside my chest

veins sharpened

barren resentful muscles

conspire with

savage crooked tendons

(that POWERFUL three letter word

can make all the difference& i fought for it unknowing)

somehow, i claim

my Revolution.

I am still enough.

Pain, spike fisted

and uncompromising

must face the results

of it’s coup.

I will hide

no longer

break the siege

reclaim my self

&my will

&my body.

The pledge of a warrior:

I will dethrone my disease

and fight until I am free.
